Problem
Active file exclusion feature does not function in Backup Exec if no licenses for Agent (such as SQL, Exchange, SharePoint, Active Directory or Hyper-V) are installed, and "Backup Recommendations" appears in Job Log. (See Error.)

SQL server backup completes with a warning / exception
The following backup set contain Microsoft SQL data. Symantec recommends that you install and use Backup Exec agent for Microsoft SQL to better manage your SQL data:

This is by design. Please install licenses for Agent Options to better manage online-backups.
