Problem

Pressing the Enter key in the Caller Verification screen, the Help Desk Operator is taken to the Reset Password screen even if the entered answers do not match.

 

Fix

In the Caller Verification module, when the user hits the Enter key, the Enter key is handled in order to route the call to validate the answers.

 

Important

This is a critical fix.  It should be applied on all BindView Password Self Service Server computers.

 

Requirements

The following applications are required to apply the hotfix.

BindView Password Self Service 8.00

BindView Password Self Service 8.00 - Hotfix 115

 

To install the hotfix:

Close all bv-Admin applications.

Download BindView_PSS80000219669_HF117.exe.

Run BindView_PSS80000219669_HF117.exe.

The installation wizard will guide you through the installation process.

 

Rollback

To rollback the hotfix run the file BindView_PSS80000219669_HF117.exe that was used to install the hotfix. The hotfix setup will guide you through the rollback process.
