Problem
DOCUMENTATION: Issues resolved in the EEB package for Storage Lifecycle Policies (SLP) in NetBackup 7.0.1 included in ETrack 1975674
Solution
The following issues are addressed in the EEB (Emergency Engineering Binary) replacement package for storage lifecycle policies (SLP) available by contacting Symantec technical support and referencing this document ID and Etrack 1975674:
(ET1996957) Encountering an occasional Status 12 messages during SLP duplications.
(ET1999892) SLP: A number of images are stuck in LIFECYCLE STATE=1 from previous SLP backups.
(ET1975674) Post nbstserv recovery logic takes a long time after NBU restart
(ET2126762) SLP Duplications failing, PD Storage Pools reaching FULL threshold, many SLP dups remaining in incomplete state across several SLP versions.
It is expected that fixes for all of these issues will be included in the NetBackup 7.1 release.
