Problem

In "Files" section, we create a wwwroot directory on the "Destination Computer" and add files to it.
At installation, no files are copied in that wwwroot directory of the target computer (IIS is installed on the target computer)

The following errors are displayed at the end of compilation:

Could not write row in table: WiseVirtualDirectory
Could not write row in table: WiseWebSites

Environment

Using Wise for Windows Installer 6

Solution

This issue is resolved in Wise Installation Studio/Express 7.0 and Wise Package Studio 7 SP2.

Workaround:
This  work around  requires that the project includes a feature that has non-web based files.
1. From the Release Settings page in Installation Expert, Select both the web based feature and non-web based feature
2. Compile the .MSI

If you do not have a non-web based feature, from the Features page create one (make it so that it is at the same level as the other feature) and add a single file to it from the Files page.
