Prerequisites
Administrative privileges are required to install this hotfix.

Post requisites
A full backup is recommended after installing this hotfix.

Issue(s) resolved

  • The Utility jobs in Backup Exec will not run until the server is paused/unpaused in the Backup Exec console. (For more details, please refer to this document www.symantec.com/docs/TECH63380 )
  • Backup Exec Job Engine crashes at the begining of an Enterprise Vault backup job (For more details, please refer to this document www.symantec.com/docs/TECH143485 )
  • Oracle restore job fails if the backup device is RMAL tape and hardware encryption is enabled. (For more details, please refer to this document www.symantec.com/docs/TECH143487)
