Unable to move mail items into Virtual Vault (VV) folders when the mailbox folders are Exchange Managed folders, even when Enterprise Vault (EV) Mailbox Policy is configured to treat Managed folders as 'Normal'.

Problem
Enterprise Vault is capable of honoring or ignoring folders that are assigned as Exchange Managed Folders. When setting the Mailbox Advanced policy setting "Archive Exchange Managed Folders" to Normal (Treat as any other folder), this setting is not currently recognized for the function of VV. Due to this, interaction with Managed Folders in VV will return the following error:

Cannot move items to the Virtual Vault, error: You cannot modify the contents of a managed folder
Solution
This issue is resolved in the following release:
