Problem



During an upgrade of Enterprise Vault 8.0, in VCS Cluster, Service Control Manager changes the Admin Service service from demand start to auto start.

The start type of the Enterprise Vault Admin Service service was changed from
demand start to auto start. 

Solution



The affected Service(s) must be manually changed after the upgrade from auto start back to demand start to avoid potential failovers of the cluster node.

 

There are currently no plans to address this issue by way of a patch or hotfix in the current or previous versions of the software at the present time. This issue may be resolved in a future major revision of the software at a later time.
