The following needs to be taken into consideration when backing up a Data OnTap version 8 NetApp device:
To backup an NDMP OnTap 8 Cluster Mode Device:
1. The Root Volume cannot be backed up by Backup Exec. This must be rebuilt by NetApp in case of Disaster Recovery.
2. Data Recovery on the OnTap Cluster requires all the Nodes in the cluster to be added.
3. Each Individual node's volumes must be backed up.
