Problem
It may be that the MountV resource is trying to add a letter (e.g. D:) that is already assigned to a CD-ROM.
If this is the case, the MountV resource will fail to go online.
Environment
Windows 2003 and 2008
Storage Foundation HA 5.0 and 5.1
Cause
Drive letter, as configured in the MountPath property in MountV resource, is already assigned to a CD-ROM.
Solution
To resolve the problem, in Veritas Enterprise Administrator (VEA) change the drive letter to the CD-ROM to a letter not used by VCS (e.g. Z:). Then try again to bring online the MountV resource.
