Problem
After applying RFU 9010 RMS Console fails to communicate with agent after running ./setup.sh -ip option when setup.sh -ip is run post-registration
Error
Failed to authenticate the user or launch the data collector
Environment
UNIX/Linux
Cause
The application of RFU 9010 inhibits the use of ./setup.sh -ip
Solution
1. The release notes of rfu 9010 suggest using/adding the new option of -lip
i.e. ./setup.sh a
Ex of using this in a script:
./setup.sh a <BVISip or machinename> <target description> <resource name> <password> -lip <ipaddress> -s UNX
2. Delete the registration if commincations are lost when using ./setup.sh -ip and re-register or -
3. Run ./setup.sh -ip before running the registration command if these two commands are scripted.
