This hotfix contains a critical fix for the Backup Exec 2010 R2 revision 4164

Backup Exec 2010 R2 revision 4164 x64bit Agent for Windows Servers
Post requisites
- A full backup is required after installing this hotfix.
- The IDR recovery media (the ISO created through the IDR Wizard) needs to be recreated after installing this hotfix.
- Remote Agent for Windows Servers will need to be updated after installing this hotfix.
Issue(s) resolved
- Backup of Exchange databases with GRT enabled to a Dell DL2000 device may fail with "-1022 There is a disk I/O error"
- Exchange Granular Restore Technology (GRT) restores from Disk of a Public Folders mail item will result in the error: "0xe000fe2d - The backup of the item is bad."
- The Backup Exec Remote Agent service crashes when attempting to open a selection list in an environment that is migrating from Exchange 2003 to 2010.
- Microsoft Exchange Database Backup Fails with V-79-57344-915 -528 The current log file is missing
- Document library named 'Forms' created under a subsite in SharePoint 2007 does not show up in the Granular Recovery Technology (GRT) based restore selections
- Restore of Sharepoint 2010 Web Analytics Databases fails with "An error occurred while connecting the restored databases to the Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server farm. The portal was not restored."
- Restore of documents from a GRT enabled backup of Sharepoint Services 2.0 fails with The directory or file was not found, or could not be accessed.
- A Duplicate Backup job of a Sharepoint Content Database hangs at the 'Updating Catalogs' Stage
- The restore of a Sharepoint 2010 Search Service Application takes an excessive amount of time
- Search engine does not work after recovery of SharePoint Server 2010
- A GRT Restore of Exchange data from tape fails with: Unable to attach to \\servername\Microsoft Information Store\First Storage Group. (UMI Code) - The resource could not be backed up because an error occurred while connecting to the Backup Exec for Windows Servers Remote Agent.
- During a GRT restore of Exchange 2010 data from a tape device the job may hang in a status of "Staging" until the job is canceled
- Redirected restore to Path of Exchange 2007 or Exchange 2010 databases fails if the original database location drive letter does not exist on the target server.
- Granular Recovery Technology (GRT) enabled backups of Exchange 2010 databases fail with error "An error occurred while connecting to the remote agent to the BE media server"
- Beremote would crash when restoring Application Service Proxies of SharePoint Server 2010
- Unable to add or select a Sharepoint 2010 Foundation Farm for backup in Backup Exec 2010 R2, with error "None of the Web servers for the specified server farm could be accessed".
- Restoring the SharePoint 2010 State Services Service Database fails with error 'An error occurred while connecting the restored databases'
- When restoring Search Service Application, related proxy is not created automatically
- Restore of State Service Proxy would fail with connection to the restore target has been lost
