1) The backup job log displays the following error when the evaluation period for a Backup Exec Agent or Option cannot be validated for some reason.
2) If any database copy is inconsistent or if the database health check failed this error could be generated.
Because of the database being in inconsistent state, replication may also fail within the DAG and the following Event ID will be generated. (Event ID : 4113)
On the Exchange Management Console the database copy would appear as failed.
1) Make sure that the Agent for Microsoft Exchange license is installed.
2) Database maintenance needs to be performed for the unhealthy database using eseutil and isinteg.
Once the database is in a healthy state, the backup should be successful.
