Problem
In recovery of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010, the settings of Services Applications are restored with default.
Environment
Symantec Backup Exec 2010 R2 and R3
Symantec Backup Exec Agent for Microsoft SharePoint
Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010
Solution
This issue has been addressed in Backup Exec 2012.
To work around this issue, perform one of the following:
a) Perform the setup of Service Applications after the restore again
b) Perform the Disaster Recovery procedure from beginning
When performing Disaster Recovery, get a full backup as soon as possible after the DR is completed.
