The deployment report generated with the tool is not being used to audit your computing environment, but rather simply to provide a "snapshot in time" of then-current deployments of the above-described Symantec software product(s). Audits are only performed by Symantec or various independent public accounting firms engaged by Symantec for that purpose and follow a strict protocol unrelated to the use of this tool. Any reports generated by this tool are not designed or intended for use in confirming compliance with Symantec licensing agreement(s) or entitlements but are merely intended to be used as a basic guide in determining a point in time level of deployment of the Symantec NetBackup. Be advised that use of the deployment report by Symantec or by end users will not waive any protections built into your Agreements with Symantec or Symantec’s right to exercise its contractual audit rights under any existing agreement with you.
