PGP Software License Authorization Assistance

This article describes how PGP Desktop software is licensed and provides links to other articles to assist in licensing PGP software.
A License number is used within the PGP software to enable the functionality of the license. For a subscription license, the license number also applies the expiration of the software. For perpetual licenses, the license number will also embed the time of Software Insurance/Basic Maintenance remaining on the License.
