PGP Universal Server Only Shows 10 Backups at One Time

PGP Universal Server displays only 10 backups.

 


Solution




PGP Universal Server 2.5.x and above has a feature that allows multiple backups to be saved. The default value is set to 5 backups, but can be increased. When a backup is performed and the maximum number of backups has been exceeded, the oldest backup will be cycled with the next oldest backup taking its place to make room for the newest backup being made.

To configure the number of backups to keep, click on the "Backup Location" button under System/Backups in the PGP Universal Server web console.

There is no scroll bar to view all the backups and if more than 10 backups have been configured, PGP Universal Server will only display ten backups at one time. As a result of this behavior, PGP Universal Server may not display the most recent backups that were made. If this is the case, click a column-sort heading such as Date to view additional backups that are available.
