Issue



This article details an issue when attempting to use you use a SSL certificates larger than 1024 bits with PGP Universal Server.

 


Cause



Due to a limitation in Windows Server 2003 prior to SP2, PGP Universal Server is unable to connect using LDAPS to a Windows Server 2003 when using SSL certificates greater than 1024. This issue was corrected in Windows Server 2003 SP2.
 

 


Solution




Note: This article applies to versions of PGP Universal Server 2.x and above.

To resolve this issue, install the latest service pack for Windows Server 2003.
