Issue

After installing PGP Desktop on a system with Proxifier, all of the proxied connections are ignored by the proxy even though PGP Desktop was added to the list of excluded programs.

Cause

This issue may be due to the order of the programs placement in the network stack. When installing PGP Desktop, the installation order can be important to proxy programs running on the system.

Solution

The issue may be resolved by using the following steps:

  1. Uninstall the Proxifier program.
  2. Uninstall the PGP Desktop.
  3. After the system has rebooted, Install PGP Desktop.
  4. Reboot the system.
  5. Install Proxifier.

These steps should correct the order of the network stack to successfully use PGP Desktop and Proxifier .
