Problem
This article details a list of resolved issues in PGP Universal Server 3.1.x.
Solution
PGP Universal Server 3.1.2
- Resolved an issue in client connection management that could result in the incorrect association of clients, devices, and keys. [27758]
PGP Universal Server 3.1.0
- 64 bit OS installations are now correctly identified in the Computer Information page in the PGP Universal Server administrative interface. [25422]
- When configuring a Consumer Policy, and specifying drives to be blacklisted with PC Netshare, the Netshare policy is now applied correctly regardless of the order in which the drives are specified. [25755]
- Added support for an advanced preference that suppresses the auto-encrypt functionality in PGP WDE for Windows after a boot disk has been fully decrypted after enrollment. To enable auto-encrypt boot disk suppression, set noAutoEncryptAfterSetupAssistant as a Boolean value to true. For information on how to add this preference, see http://support.pgp.com/?faq=1971 [26441]
- Recovery partitions are no longer reported as unencrypted partitions to the PGP Universal Server. [26662]
- Enrollment no longer fails when there is a WDE-only license and SKM is the only allowed key mode. [26764]
- When configuring disk encryption to an administrator passphrase, the text no longer specifies Windows only. [26944]
- When mail policy is "standalone," and the user chooses to override the default policy, the user's choice now takes effect correctly. [26992]
- External users are no longer counted when determining how many user licenses have been consumed. [27994]
- .P7S signature files that are not related to the email to which they are attached no longer trigger the exception mail policy chain. [27996]
- Validation of relative URLs has been improved to prevent redirects to pages outside of the PGP Universal Server. [28285]
- Improved the security of password handling when using PGP WDE with Windows single sign-on. For more information, see the following Support article www.symantec.com/docs/TECH149940 .[26880]
