Issue



When attempting to connect and perform synchronization using Get Devices from a PGP Endpoint Server Management Console to a system installed with PGP Endpoint, you receive the error The computer is not reachable or does not have the client installed. This issue affects the device explorer and log explorer for the remote PGP Endpoint system.

 


Solution




This error does not affect the systems ability to receive policy updates from the PGP Endpoint Server.

 

Workaround

To workaround this issue, rename the computer with a name that is less than 15 characters.
