License number not valid - PGP Desktop 10

This article describes how to resolve a License Number Not Valid error when authorizing a PGP Desktop license.
This error indicates that the license number is not being entered correctly, is not a valid license number for the version of PGP you are running, or the license number has expired.
For PGP Desktop 10.1.x and newer licenses or if you have received a new license, you must use Authorized User for the Name and Authorized Company for the Organization
