TFTP server support for PGP Universal Server 3.x backups.

Solution

TFTP servers are NOT supported for use with PGP Universal Server backups. This is due to TFTP servers not supporting authentication which is required by the PGP Universal Server. When using a TFTP server you will receive an error to enter a username and passphrase.

Backup files can be stored on the PGP Universal Server, or they can be automatically sent via FTP or SCP to a location you specify. If you specify to use SCP or FTP, after designating a hostname and location for the backup files, you must enter a username and passphrase/password for authentication.
