Computer Freezes when performing MozyHome Backup

When attempting to perform a backup using the MozyHome online backup software, the computer freezes and is unresponsive.
This issue can occur when the Mozy backup software is installed on a system which is PGP Whole Disk Encrypted with a version of PGP Desktop 10.0.x. This is due to a conflict with PGP Whole Disk Encryption and the MozyHome backup software process.
This issue will be fixed in an upcoming release of PGP Desktop.
- Install a hotfix for PGP Desktop 10.0.x. To obtain a fix for this issue, log in to your PGP Support account and submit a technical support request.
- Decrypt the disk, uninstall PGP Desktop 10.0.x, and re-install a PGP Desktop 9.x version.
