Problem
How to tell which version of VERITAS Cluster Server is installed
Solution
Sometimes, having the correct version number of VERITAS
Cluster Server is vital to the troubleshooting process. This information is not
provided in the GUI; in the Help > About dialog, the Cluster Manager version
is displayed.
There are two ways to check the version of VERITAS
Cluster Server:
Method 1: Check the Registry for the version
number
A. Click on Start > Run > type
regedt32.exe.
B. Bring HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE on Local Machine to the
foreground.
C. Expand the software folder.
D. Expand VERITAS, then VCS.
This will display your version number. (Figure

dialog.
A. Click on Start > Settings > Control
Panel
B. Double-click Add/Remove
Programs
C. Scroll down to VERITAS Cluster
Server.
