Solution
This hotfix contains a critical fix for the Backup Exec 2010 R2 revision 4164
NOTE : Hotfix 150096 will copy the files mentioned under File Information in its respective directory if Service Pack 1 is not Installed properly. If Service Pack 1 is Installed correctly then the contents of the below mentioned folder will remain unchanged.

Prerequisites
- Administrative privileges are required to install this hotfix.
- Before installing this hotfix, Service Pack 1 must be installed. Service Pack 1 can be obtained here: www.symantec.com/docs/TECH143670
Post requisites
- A full backup is required after installing this hotfix.
- The IDR recovery media (the ISO created through the IDR Wizard) needs to be recreated after installing this hotfix.
- Remote Agent for Windows Servers will need to be updated after installing this hotfix.
- Remote Agent for Linux/Unix/Macintosh Servers (RALUS/RAMS) will need to be updated after installing this hotfix.
- Desktop/Laptop clients will need to be updated after installing this hotfix.
Issue(s) resolved
- After installing Backup Exec 2010 R2 SP1, Remote Agent for Windows Server (RAWS) reports there are no updates to install

(1) These files are installed into the Windows Global Assembly Cache (GAC). This is located by default in C:\Windows\Assembly.
Additional Information :
Apply as necessary :
(1) The *.tar.gz file will contain a ralusinstallpatch.sh file as well as the appropriate *.tar for the platform it's patching.
(2) Compressed file versions can be verified as correct by uncompressing the files using expand.exe command. (e.g. expand.exe -r bedrwiz.ex_ %TEMP% - the bedrwiz.ex_ will be decompressed as bedrwiz.exe in the %TEMP% folder.)
