Problem
Command line parameters for EPHD installation
Solution
Starting with EPHD 7.0.x build 025.00.00.1 which uses a new version of InstallShield Developer, there are new command line parameters.
Solution :
The new command line parameters are:
/s - silent install
/z - to 'select' user installation options
/b - user installation option - encrypt all partitions
/a - user installation option - use default user
/nr - user installation option - no automatic reboot (allows user to reboot manually)
/ng - user installation option - no GINA.dll will be installed
Example: To perform a silent install with the DEFAULT user and encrypt all partitions, the command line will be
"C:\EP Hard Disk\User Program Setup\DISK1\setup.exe" /s /z"/b /a" where: "C:\EP Hard Disk\User Program Setup\DISK1\setup.exe" is used to start the user installation and the new parameters described above are used.
