Problem

Netbackup Agent for the Lotus Notes is reporting status 37 - operation requested by an invalid server when performing a redirected Restore from the Backup, Archive and Restore Gui and the wrong hostname is appearing in the Activity monitor in windows cliets

Cause

The wrong hostname can still be passed to the master server if the Backup Archive and Restore (BAR) GUI cache Registey is incorrectly populated.

Solution

Remove the GUI registry keys.
On the machine where the console is having the issue, perform the following:
1. Close the NetBackup Administration Console
2. Click Start | Run, type regedt32 and press <Enter>.
3. Make a backup of HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VERITAS\NetBackup
4. Delete the key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VERITAS\NetBackup

This key is automatically regenerated the next time the console is opened.
