Problem
Job Engine service crashes when running Advanced Disk Based Option (ADBO) Offhost backups of Exchange 2010 databases configured in a DAG.
Error
Backup job log reports the following error;
Unable to attach to \\SERVER-DAG01\Microsoft Information Store\SERVER-DB. The resource could not be backed up because an error occurred while connecting to the Backup Exec for Windows Servers Remote Agent.
Windows Application log reports the following error;
Faulting application name bengine.exe, version: 13.0.2896.129, time stamp: 0x4cbc63e6 Faulting module name: MSVCP80.dll, version: 8.0.50727.4927, time stamp: 0x4a27431a
Following error is seen in the media server Beremote debug log

Solution
The service crash has been resolved in Backup Exec 2010 R3.
Note: Backing up Exchange 2010 DAG with ADBO option is currently not supported.
