INCIDENTS FIXED BY THE PATCH
----------------------------
This patch fixes the following Symantec incidents:

   * 2178254

     SYMPTOM: If you configure an IP resource for high availability
     under VCS, you may observe memory leakage.

     DESCRIPTION: The IP agent may fail to free internal memory
     allocations due to thread cancellation, and cause memory leakage.

     RESOLUTION: Symantec has modified the IP agent code to prevent the
     memory leakage.

   * 216504

     SYMPTOM: If you configure multiple MultiNICB resources in a VCS
     cluster, then haping may hang.

     DESCRIPTION: The haping() code is not thread-safe. When you
     configure multiple MultiNICB resources in a VCS cluster, multiple
     threads of the MultiNICB monitor simultaneously call haping().
     These concurrent calls may corrupt data and hang haping().

     RESOLUTION: Symantec has modified the MultiNICB agent to serialize
     the handling of haping calls and prevent data corruption.
