Prerequisites
- Administrative privileges are required to install this hotfix.
- Before installing this hotfix, Service Pack 4 must be installed. Service Pack 4 can be obtained here:
 

Postrequisites
- A full backup is required after installing this hotfix.
- Remote Agent for Windows Servers will need to be updated after installing this hotfix.

Issue(s) Resolved
- Oracle control files restore fails if software encryption is enabled on the backup job
- 0xE0001502 error occurs when restoring Oracle database that was backed up to the span media
- The backup process does not backup valid directories, when a ** (double asterisk) Wildcard Exclusion is used in the Directory Path location.
