Problem

After upgrading CommandCentral Storage (CCS) Management Server (MS) to 5.2RU1, Emailing Report feature does not pop up the proper window for entering the recipient addresses.

Error

[serveltException in:/tiles/Reports/email_report.jsp] javax/mail/Session'

Environment

CCS5.2RU1 windows or Solaris MS

Solution

Steps to resolve the issue-

On CommandCentral Storage 5.2RU1 Windows Management Server :

1. Go to the <installation Dir>\CommandCentral Storage\Web Engine\spc

2. Copy mail.jar and paste the file in <installation Dir>\CommandCentral Storage\Web Engine\spc\WEB-INF\lib

3. Restart the service Veritas CommandCentral Web Console through the service panel

On CommandCentral Storage 5.2RU1 Solaris Management Server :

1. Go to the <installation Dir>/VRTSccs/VRTSweb/VERITAS/spc

2. Copy mail.jar and paste the file in <installation Dir>/VRTSccs/VRTSweb/VERITAS/spc/WEB-INF/lib/

3. Restart the process “/opt/VRTS/bin/vxccs stop esmweb” and then “/opt/VRTS/bin/vxccs start esmweb”.
