Problem

When running Storage Expiry in Report Mode, shortcuts that have passed their retention period may be deleted the next time the archive task runs.

Cause

This will occur if the following conditions are met:

1.  Process Vault Stores on the Storage Expiry tab is set to Scheduled Times (whether a schedule is configured or not).

2.  The shortcuts have passed their retention period.

Solution

Workaround:

In order to run Storage Expiry to run in Report Mode and not have shortcuts delete, Process Vault Stores on the Storage Expiry tab must be set to Never.

Note: A restart of the EV Admin Service needs to be done after making the change.
