Cause
The crash was a result of an "SKEY" exception, which is included in AIX 6.1, and allows processes or kernel extensions to setup boundaries to protect memory. Symantec Storage Foundation (SF) support for the AIX operating system running on the IBM POWER7 architecture, was not in SF 5.1SP1.
Solution
Please upgrade SF 5.1SP1 to SF 5.1SP1RP1 (latest) or to SF 5.1RP2 because the SKEY for
IBM POWER 7 architecture is supported by these versions.
