Unable to grown volume across multiple disks

Environment
Volume is part of a Microsoft Disk Management Disk Group
Cause
This is a limitation of using a Microsoft Disk Management Disk Group.
Solution
Expand the volume to only a single disk at a time or using Microsoft Disk Management to expand the volume.
