Problem
Sometimes while searching for filters to create a target, the dropdown list of filters only displays the message “More items match search. Type to filter list.”, yet the dropdown contains no filters. Most of the time if the name of the filter is completely typed in, the filter will display in the dropdown box; however some filters will never display even when typed in exactly.
Issue:
When searching for filters to create a target, if one or more of the found filters contains a quote (“), the entire list of filters from the search will not display.
Environment
Symantec Management Platform 7.1
Solution
The workaround is to rename filters to not contain any quotes.
