Error

ERROR:  You can't install this patch, install 'apply-661kernel-patch.sh' firstly.

Environment

PureDisk 6.6.1 Server

Cause

After upgrading the PureDisk server to 6.6.1, the 'apply-661kernel-patch.sh' script was never executed as instructed on the PureDisk 6.6.1 installation instructions. The PureDisk 6.6.1.2 kernel patch is dependent on the previous update (6.6.1)

Solution

Execute the following command in the PureDisk server to complete the kernel upgrade (6.6.1) of the operating system:

/opt/pdinstall/apply-661kernel-patch.sh --upgrade

After the upgrade is successful and the server has been rebooted, the kernel upgrade (6.6.1.2) of the operating system can be completed by executing the following command:

/opt/pdinstall/apply-6612kernel-patch.sh --upgrade
