ADSynchronization process appears to never finish

Issue



ADSynchronizer queries information updates from Active Directory for each Custodian and Custodian Group within the Custodian Manager database.  When the quantity of custodians having unique Exchange attributes is in excess of hundreds of thousands, ADSynchronizer will run for days or weeks before completing with errors.

Cause



The loading of hundred of thousands of unique exchange attributes causes the ADSynchronizer process to use excessive memory resources causing the process to slow substantially and eventually submit event 34 errors.
