The Deployment Server 6.9 stops working after changing the local admin password.

The Deployment Solution product can stop working when the local admin password on the Deployment Server has been changed. The Altiris services may seem to fail to start, or are reported to be not accessible.
The ' DB Management ' service is inaccessible.

Altiris services are using the wrong credentials because the admin password was changed.
Change the credentials for each of the Altiris Services on the Deployment Server.
Alternatively, you could set up a unique user in Windows that has local admin rights, and use that account consistently rather than use the local admin account that could change. You could use the Deployment Solution service account for this purpose, or use the domain admin account.
