Group Update Providers (GUPs) can be a critical component of your Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) infrastructure. You have implemented GUPs in your environment, and visibility into these processes is something that would benefit you.
The SEP Content Distribution Monitor helps monitor GUP health and status as well as general content deployment. This tool is a lightweight, stand-alone tool designed to be run directly on the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) server, and should return a graphical display of the content distribution status.
This monitor works with GUPs that are running 11.0.5 (SEP 11 RU5) or later. There is also a release compatible with SEP 12.1.x SEPMs and GUPs.

Note: This tool is not officially supported; however, feedback can be left on the Connect page.
Note: Copy the files "sepm_monitor.jar" and "SepmMonitorTool.bat" into the Tools folder on the SEPM installation path before you start.
