Environment

CCStorage 5.1

Cause

If the switch being added is already managed by any EFCM or other McDATA SMI Agent, then the switch will not get manageability, though this procedure says, switch addition successful.
This means, the switch is added to this SMI Agent’s discovery list and will get discovered when the current management application drops the manageability. So, ManageSwitch List procedure will not list down the newly added switch.

Solution

Add EFCM in SMI-S agent, instead of adding McData switch directly.
