Archived messages that are moved to another mailbox do not get updated.

If a user moves an archived message to another mailbox, only the shortcut is moved.  When the archivetask processes the mailbox that item was moved to, it will recognize the message belongs to another archive and will not update the shortcut.

 This is working as intended but some users may not be aware of the functionality.


Solution



Workaround:

1.  Restore the message to the original archive.

2.  Move the message to the other mailbox.

3.  Archive the message from the new mailbox location.
