Ghost Solution Suite (GSS) compatibility with Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) and Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) systems and partitions

Problem
You want to know if GSS is compatible with computers that incorporate EFI or UEFI partitions as a BIOS replacement.
Error
Problems seen when cloning EFI/UEFI partitions happen during the restore process where the restored machine will boot with various errors, stating that there are no Boot Partitions found.
Solution
There are currently no versions of Ghost Solution Suite that support machines incorporating the EFI or UEFI standards as a BIOS replacement. A possible workaround would be to clone these machines using one of the Sector switches as listed below. Please see the GSS Implementation Guide for the use of these switches.

Some UEFI BIOS's have a legacy setting that may allow capturing an image in some cases.
Note: Changing this setting maybe require a re-install of the operating system due to the replacement of the MBR.
