Problem
CommandCentral Enterprise Reporter (CCER) fails to send email even after correctly configured SMTP server
Cause
Verify that SMTP host is properly configured as described in this technote:
http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH55155
Name resolution to SMTP host fails.
Solution
Add SMTP host to /etc/hosts file on the CCER server. Or, use IP address instead of hostname when configuring SMTP host.
