This Hotfix is an update to Windows Patch Assessment Check Library and contains checks for updates released by Microsoft in April 2011. The supported XML version number is 2.0.0.0098.

Review the following notes before you install this Hotfix:

• To install this Hotfix on Control Compliance Suite Reporting and Analytics 8.60, you must have an existing installation of Windows Patch Assessment Check Library. This Hotfix is only an upgrade and cannot be installed as a fresh installation on Control Compliance Suite Reporting and Analytics 8.60.
• You must stop the Symantec SMC Job Server and Symantec SMC Server services before you install the Hotfix

In this update, KB2491683 and KB2506212 are applicable for the same bulletin MS11-024. Evaluation of checks related to MS11-024 may report as Pass when either one of the KB is installed. We are analyzing this issue and a fix for patch checks related to MS11-024 will be released soon.
