Error generated   Server Error in 'Altiris/IT Analytics' Applications - Request Timed Out

As a result configuration of IT Analytics (ITA) fails

Environment



 IT Analytics 7.0.x


Cause



 Error is caused by an underlying asp.net process taking longer to complete than the standard 90 seconds normally allocated. Issue explained further in microsoft KB  article  852739


Solution



 increase timeout for Aspx.net process. Procedures to do this can be found in Microsoft KB Article 852739 (see link below)
