Cause

This error may come up if the Anti Virus running on the server has restricted any access to files under System State.

Solution

To troubleshoot the issue, try to run the backup using Windows built in Backup utility.

Check for any errors such as:

Reason: Access is denied.

In this case , the reason for the file not getting backed up is that the Anti-virus software restricts access to this file.

To resolve the issue, contact the Anti-virus manufacturer for assistance with excluding or temporarily disabling the product during backups.
