SMTP Email settings in Symantec System Recovery (SSR) are lost following a machine restart on Windows 7 and 2008 R2.

Problem
After adding the 'SMTP Email' settings in the Symantec System Recovery (SSR) graphical user interface (GUI), those settings are lost if the machine is restarted rather than being shutdown.

Windows 2008 R2
Solution
This issue is fixed in Service Pack 2 (10.0.2) for Symantec System Recovery (SSR) 2011. SP2 is available via LiveUpdate or here: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH186176.
This issue is also fixed in Service Pack 5 (9.0.5) for Backup Exec System Recovery (BESR) 2010. SP5 is available via LiveUpdate or here:
