Error

[SYMANTEC][Backup Exec Catalog Driver] (Access is denied.)

Solution

This issue is fixed in Hotfix (s) 161270 & 164733 (See Related Articles section)

Newly created backup sets will be fixed by Hotfix 161270.

Older backup sets, prior to installation of Hotfix 161270, will need to apply the workaround below to generate Active Directory GRT selections.

WORKROUND:

Navigate to the Backup Exec disk folder location and Rename the VDB.TXT file present in the IMGxxxx folder which contains the AD Active Directory backup.
