Problem
Differential SQL restore from an AVVI backup fails
Error
0xe00094a3 - One or more SQL database restore operations have failed.
V-79-57344-38051
The database cannot be recovered because the log was not restored.
V-79-57344-38051 - An error occurred while attempting to recover the database.
Cause
This can happen if the differential AVVI backup is not in a policy with the full AVVI backup. A policy is required for AVVI differential backups.
Solution
Create a full and differential AVVI backup using a policy, and rerun the full, and differential backups.
