When a document on a Sharepoint list contains multiple versions, and the latest version also contains an infection, all versions of the document will be removed upon a manual or scheduled scan of Symantec Protection for Sharepoint Servers 5.1.x
This behaviour is expected and accorging to the product's design.
MS Sharepoint uses a single reference for any active (latest or published) document.
Document versions are 'shadows' of the main single reference, and not independent from it.
Therefore, when the latest/active version of a document is found to be infected by Symantec Protection for Sharepoint Servers Manual Scan, all previous versions of the document will also be removed.
